Dr. Hartman is a life-long Philadelphia area resident. He attended Lehigh University, graduating with a BA in biology. After two years working as a technician in a pharmacology lab, he returned to school, attending The Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine), graduating in 1988. His residency in Adult Psychiatry was at MCP/Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute and was followed by a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is board certified in Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Hartman’s broad experience and approachable style helps him to easily engage with patients and tailor a plan of treatment that makes sense for the patient in their current circumstances
